Kansas aerospace industry could face two aerospace strikes

Members of Boeing's machinists union in Wichita, Kan., will vote early next month on whether to accept the company's contract offer. The two sides will start talks later this week. Meanwhile, an ongoing strike at Hawker Beechcraft, also in Wichita, is now three weeks old. The company's union machinists rejected the company's offer and walked off the job Aug. 4.
