U.S. attorney: Apartments not complying with ADA

Some apartment buildings in New York City are "not accessible to persons with disabilities," according to letters the United States attorney's office in Manhattan sent to some of the city's most prominent landlords and their architects. The disclosure could mean millions of dollars in renovations to 100,000 apartments built since 1991.
