A commuter-friendly folding bike

A full-size folding bike that won the 2009 gold Australian Design Award/James Dyson Award appears to a fully functioning prototype, writes Warren McLaren, unlike other folding bicycles that have lingering design issues. McLaren laments the use of carbon fiber, but he applauds the 26-inch wheels that make the bike better-suited for commuting.
