Ford says its electric cars will sync with smart grid

Ford has found a way to link its hybrid-electric cars with the national electrical grid so that owners can set the time and rate at which to recharge their vehicles. The car company is investing nearly $14 billion toward the goal of producing more fuel-efficient vehicles.
