Molecule could be therapeutic target for colon cancer

U.S. researchers said they were able to inhibit the development of colon cancer and boost cell death in mice by blocking ERBB3, a cell surface molecule. "If we can use an inhibitor to block ERBB3, then it should be a very potent anti-cancer therapy," the study's lead author said.
