Opinion: Use Internet to deliver quality teaching to more students

Teacher quality is the most important factor in student achievement, and using the Internet and other technology to broadcast interactive lessons into multiple classrooms would expand the reach of great teachers, writes Mortimer Zuckerman, editor-in-chief of U.S. News & World Report. He suggests using federal stimulus funds to pay for equipment that would allow students to follow lessons electronically and seek help when needed from on-site teachers, who would act as "enhancers."
