FBI goes the managed-services route for cybersecurity work

Managed services is catching traction on the government IT front and the latest undertaking is happening with the FBI as the enforcement agency will spend close to $1 billion to outsource cybersecurity work over a five-year period. The contract awarded to ManTech International includes 24x7 intrusion-detection monitoring, incident identification and response, cyberthreat analysis and specialized-training services.
