Charleston makes quick use of new high-tech air ambulance

The Medical University of South Carolina's new air ambulance has transported some 50 critically ill patients to the Charleston hospital since it arrived in June. The Med Trans chopper is not only a functioning ICU for adults and children, it also has other lifesaving features for the crew and patients, including high-tech weather radar, terrain warning and traffic collision devices.
