Groups urge CFPB to crack down on certain practices

The National Consumer Law Center is leading a consortium of consumer groups in submitting a wish list to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. The list includes a variety of business practices that the groups want the CFPB to look into. For example, the consortium wants the agency to crack down on check-cashing operations, prepaid debit cards and certain aspects of car loans.
