Meeting is set to tackle flood mitigation along the Missouri River

The Army Corps of Engineers and governors from several states are scheduled to meet today in Omaha, Neb., to discuss ways to mitigate flood risk along the Missouri River, which has inundated many areas and caused widespread property damage in the region. Developing new measures to reduce the risk could cause problems for farmers, fishermen and others, experts said.
