Will Idaho's online requirement limit the role of teachers?

Several teachers in Idaho say they are worried a new requirement students take some courses online will limit the amount of time students spend with certified teachers. The state Board of Education is asking the public to weigh in on how the requirement should be implemented, beginning with the class of 2016. The board currently is considering requiring two courses to be taken online. "Students need to use technology, but they don't need to lose a teacher," said Sue Darden, a math and history teacher.
