Premium video library AOL On unveiled a video advertising unit that automates interactive elements within an ad. Marketers provide images that go with the video, and technology from Israeli startup Carambola scans the video for appropriate places to insert interactive features such as quizzes, e-commerce offers or information about what's in the video. One in 10 viewers clicked on the ads during tests and spent about 25 seconds with content from the interactive elements, AOL On said.
