Australia's pepper growers join efforts to push a bumper crop

Bundaberg Fruit and Vegetable Growers, the Bowen Gumlu Growers Association, BrisMark and the Queensland Department of Agriculture are working this year to push their peppers, after an unseasonably warm winter brought a bumper crop. "We have a consumer education program through our independent greengrocers, and the Colour Your Winter capsicum program just alerts the consumer to the beautiful Queensland capsicums that are prolific at this time of year," said BrisMark marketing executive Vikki Leng.
