Work on replacing a collapsed span on the Interstate 5 bridge over the Skagit River in Washington state continues. Eight large steel and concrete girders, weighing 84 tons and measuring 162 feet long, have arrived and cranes are moving them into place. The replacement span is on schedule to be done by early next month, according to this article.
