Marketers should properly scrutinize social media and determine their company value before asking their CEO to join in the social fray because relying on CEOs to socially build up a brand is "missing the point," Cindy Kim writes. Marketers must also work with their CEO to determine a viable schedule and provide training and education on social media so CEO efforts are worthwhile and keep up with current trends.
