Nev. district provides training, support for new teachers

The Elko County School District in Nevada partnered with the Northeastern Nevada Regional Professional Development Program this year to provide training for teachers new to the district. Besides an opportunity to develop relationships with their peers, teachers say the program provided needed support. Topics also included teaching strategies, 21st-century teaching tools and the Common Core State Standards.
