Poll: 15% of women cite gender as a workplace hurdle

Fifteen percent of women say they have suffered gender discrimination in the workplace, according to a Gallup survey. This finding was relatively consistent across age groups and educational levels, but it did vary by political ideology, with liberal women being more likely to say discrimination was a factor in not receiving a promotion or other opportunity.
