Trumpet Player Believes Curriculum Could Jazz Up Learning

The "Jazz for Young People Curriculum," sponsored by New York's Jazz at Lincoln Center organization, uses music to teach students about culture, respect and patience, a report says. One of the program's biggest proponents is Grammy Award winning trumpet player Wynton Marsalis, who spends some of his spare time visiting schools.
