New Jersey valedictorian suit ends

As part of its settlement, the Moorestown, N.J., School Board will pay Blair L. Hornstine $60,000 and acknowledge her as the district's sole valedictorian. The student, who achieved a 4.689 average despite suffering from chronic fatigue syndrome, had sued the district over sharing the top spot.
