Virginia bridge is a perfect fit

The second phase of a steel and concrete bridge project in Chesapeake, Va., was completed ahead of schedule, allowing the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway to reopen on time. The couterweights were assembled as one piece in Wisconsin, then broken down into segments and shipped to the site in southern Virginia for bolt-up.
