Green roofs part of Florida city's eco-strategy

A new section of Coconut Creek, Fla., called the MainStreet area, will feature green roofs, where foliage is planted on rooftops to save energy by reflecting heat and offering insulation. In addition to its green roof strategy, the city has been designated as a community wildlife habitat by the National Wildlife Federation.
