Study: Chocolate milk effective for exercise recovery

Chocolate milk is a strong alternative to other fluid-replacement and carbohydrate-replacement beverages, a study by scientists at Indiana University found. Chocolate milk's carbohydrate-to-protein ratio helped the study's athletes refuel after the first segment of their workout and then exercise at a high intensity during subsequent workouts, the study's co-author said.
