Error by TSA inspector forces American Eagle to delay 40 flights

An error by a TSA inspector at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport forced American Eagle to delay 40 flights on Tuesday. The inspector, who was conducting routine checks, either stepped onto or grabbed sensitive avionics probes mounted on the fuselages of nine planes. The mistake forced American to inspect the planes for damage, which caused the delays.
