Yahoo! set to unveil new ad management system

Yahoo! is scheduled to launch a display-ad management platform this quarter, a move that may help it meet growth projections and remain independent in the wake of Microsoft's attempted takeover, according to this article. The platform, formerly called "Amp," will be implemented in waves by more than 800 publications in Yahoo!'s newspaper group, beginning with the San Francisco Chronicle and the San Jose Mercury News.
