AmEx, NBCU nets kick off campaign to honor small businesses

NBC Universal and American Express are partnering on a multimedia ad campaign titled "Shine a Light" that will cast a spotlight on small businesses around the country. Part of the campaign, which debuted this week, involves NBCU cable nets MSNBC, Bravo, USA and CNBC running promotional content designed to drive traffic to a microsite where people can vote for their favorite neighborhood businesses.
