CFTC's Gensler seeks tougher bill on OTC derivatives

Gary Gensler, chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, asked House and Senate committee leaders to revise the legislative proposal from the Obama administration regarding the regulation of over-the-counter derivatives. Gensler wants exemptions for small derivatives dealers scratched, for example. "The law must cover the entire marketplace without exception," Gensler wrote.
