Dairy potentially linked to decreased diabetes risk

Consuming a high amount of dairy may decrease the risk of type 2 diabetes, but results of studies on the issue are mixed with some finding no relation. It's been suggested however, that the calcium, vitamin D and whey protein in dairy products may help lower diabetes risk.
