Diet expert says metabolic flexibility may help weight loss

Obesity researcher James Hill says it may be easier to lose weight or maintain a healthy weight if people repair their metabolism through increased physical activity so it can better process the different types of foods they eat. Hill, the co-author of "State of Slim: Fix Your Metabolism and Drop 20 Pounds in 8 Weeks on the Colorado Diet," touts the concept of metabolic flexibility, which he combines with a healthy diet.
