Google Glass to aid first responders

Connecticut-based Mutualink said it will demonstrate at an upcoming conference how first responders can use Google Glass to help save lives in emergencies by tapping into FirstNet, the fledgling 4G-based public-safety network. The company added that departments whose technologies are not compatible will still be able to communicate with one other. By combining its multimedia capabilities with Google Glass, Mutualink said responders could share documents, images and schematics.
