Google+ takes aim at the corporate-collaboration market

In a bid to get an edge on Facebook, Google+ is launching an API Domains feature that lets companies develop business tools using the Google+ platform, effectively turning the social network into a tool for enterprise social collaboration and communication. "It makes more sense that Google adds value as a social layer on top of their other tools that are already monetized in this direction," writes Andre Leme of CI&T.
