International trade deal may get sticky with sugar considerations

In order for a massive international trade deal to get the green light from the 12 nations involved, the U.S. may have to allow more sugar imports from Australia. Domestic sugar producers oppose the lifted restrictions on imported sugar, stating that domestic production and the currently allowed level of imports is sufficient for the U.S. market.
