Shipping giant Maersk Line has more than 1 million Facebook fans, a feat achieved by providing engaging content and branding the company as exciting at its core. The first step was showcasing Maersk's ocean photos from around the world. "For years we thought we were boring, so we helped convey to the world the idea that we are boring. But we're not," Maersk Line social media chief Jonathan Wichmann said.
