Space exploration goes global with NASA's "Roadmap" update

NASA and 11 international space agencies will work together to explore deep space. It's "a clear signal that the global community wants to be a part of NASA's unified deep-space exploration strategic plan, with robotic and human missions to destinations that include near-Earth asteroids, the moon and Mars," said NASA Administrator Charles Bolden in announcing the "Global Exploration Roadmap," which brings NASA together with the space programs of the European Space Agency, Canada, India, Italy, Germany, France, Japan, Russia, South Korea, Ukraine and the U.K.
