Study: Type 1 diabetes patients frequently have chronic fatigue

A study in Diabetes Care suggests that patients with type 1 diabetes are more likely to experience chronic fatigue. Researchers subjected 428 patients to a fatigue severity test and found that 40% of those with type 1 diabetes reported chronic fatigue over the previous two weeks, compared with only 7% of those in the control group. The severity of fatigue was also significantly greater in the diabetes group, the study showed.
