Wash. SNA chapter helps match farmers with schools

The Washington State Department of Agriculture and the Washington School Nutrition Association will host Taste Washington Day in September -- an annual event for farmers and schools. The goal of the event, which includes samples of locally produced food, is to serve more Washington-grown foods in state schools. Samples will include chicken with rice, carrot salad, barbecue lentil loaf and more.
