Wells Fargo uses committees, agency crowdsourcing for message

Wells Fargo has expanded its idea pool for social media response and marketing under Chief Marketing Officer Jamie Moldafsky. The company's social media management includes two oversight committees with business unit leaders, legal counsel and Moldafsky selecting tools and creating strategies for content and distribution. For its advertising and creative, Moldafsky asks the company's six agency partners to develop ad ideas and picks among them regardless of who is the lead on the campaign.
