W.Va. doesn't need air quality rules for fracking, study finds

West Virginia doesn't need to impose new air quality rules for natural gas drilling, according to a report from the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection's Office of Oil and Gas. Some residents were worried about hydraulic fracturing operations near an elementary school in Monongalia County, but the study found no health risks based on monitoring data.
