Researchers provide new, highly detailed picture of Antarctica

A new, highly detailed image of Antarctica has been formed by assembling more than 3,150 high-resolution satellite images captured in 2008. The image offers the most detailed look at Antarctica since 1997, and researchers plan to use it to note changes in ice conditions.
