Student with perfect SATs sues to keep admissions slot

Mark James Edmonson let his senior year grades slide precipitously, which prompted UNC-Chapel Hill to rescind its admissions offer. The student, who received a perfect 1,600 on his SATs, has sued the university to uphold what he feels is a binding contract, even though the original offer required Edmonson to maintain his current level of academic achievement.
