N.C. assembly gives boost to construction projects

North Carolina's General Assembly delivered good news to the construction industry by approving $2.2 billion for building, highway and utility work. Also, a fund of $3 million was established as tax credits for renovations to abandoned mills, and the annual transfer of $195 million in highway funds were discontinued.
