Federal court orders California to stop Medicaid payment cuts

A federal court in Los Angeles ruled that California must discontinue the 10% cuts in the state's Medicaid program reimbursement payments to physicians, clinics and other health care providers. The court said the cuts have resulted in financial losses for pharmacies and other Medicaid providers in the state. The California Pharmacists Association said the decision was a "much-needed and timely victory."
