J.M. Smucker executives promoted as Folgers merger takes shape

Several J.M. Smucker executives have been promoted to key roles in response to the company's pending merger with Folgers coffee. Among them are Vincent C. Byrd, who as president of the new coffee strategic business area will facilitate the integration of the coffee brand, and Steven Oakland, the new president of Smucker's consumer business. Barry Dunaway has been named senior vice president in charge of the company's new corporate and organization development office, which will assume responsibility for human resources and mergers and acquisitions.
