World's oceans break temperature records

The world's oceans posted the hottest temperatures in almost 130 years of record keeping in July and appear poised to break another record this month, according to the U.S. National Climactic Data Center. A combination of global warming and the start of an El Nino weather pattern are credited for the high temperatures.
