Writing an original song, baking cookies or creating a website about how much you want a job may win you an employer's attention, but make sure you don't go too far with your attention-getting efforts, experts say. "Networking is critical, but stalking is never acceptable," says Lynne Sarikas, executive director of the MBA Career Center at Boston's Northeastern University.
