Bing, Yahoo more popular with younger, lower-income Web users

Users of Google's search engine tend to reside in states with above-average household incomes and college graduation rates, according to research from online advertising company Chitika. Lower-income and younger Web surfers are more apt to use Bing or Yahoo search, suggesting search advertisers might be more likely to reach those demographics through alternatives to Google. Google did not comment on the study.
