Engineering to be infused in all subject areas in Colo. school

Frisco Elementary School in Summit County, Colo., is making real-world problem-solving an integral part of its entire curriculum this year with the adoption of a program that emphasizes science, technology, engineering and math. "The goal this year is to embed engineering across the curriculum because it embodies everything from writing, reading and research to technology, math and critical thinking concepts," STEM coordinator Peder Hansen said.
