Food trucks win fans, take to the streets for a 4th season

Food trucks may take some sales away from quickservice chains, but their mobile nature makes them less likely to win legions of loyal fans, according to NPD Group, whose research raises questions about how worried restaurants should be about their wheeled rivals. The study comes as cooks take to the streets for the fourth season of "The Great Food Truck Race," in which teams take up a cross-country cooking competition to win a brand new food truck and $50,000.
