Kan. city council might prohibit drone use

Lawrence, Kan., might become the latest city to ban drones, as concern about abuse heats up. A civil rights group, Kansans for Responsible Drone Use, is pushing the City Council to consider a ban. Cities including Charlottesville, Va., and Iowa City, Iowa, have banned drones. "I can understand people's concerns of drones hovering over their homes and monitoring their private lives," Lawrence City Commissioner Jeremy Farmer said.
