Localytics: Consumers use apps in short sessions

Consumers open their applications 25 times a month on average but are spending 26% less time in each app with each successive open, according to a Localytics survey. "People are spending overall a fairly decent amount of time in the app, but it's small intervals of time repeated more frequently," Localytics CEO Raj Aggarwal says, adding the trends show increasing fragmentation but greater integration of useful apps into everyday life instead of for just wasting time.
