Regulatory revamp gives post-trade companies a boon

Trade-matching service providers Omgeo and Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication are ramping up post-trade offerings in anticipation of increased volume created by regulatory changes such as the Dodd-Frank Act. "There is a lot of regulation coming down, and people are interested in reliability, security and resiliency, and that is driving spending in the post-trade space," said Chris Church, SWIFT's CEO for the Americas and global head of securities.
